Summary: After graduating in 2005 I decided it would be best to move to Charlotte to share the city with my older sister and for us to split the state with our parents who live in Raleigh (my Dad is also a PSU Alum, EE ‘72). As a Finance major, the opportunities made available by the banks here have proven to be very valuable, even over the past couple of years and I’m very glad to have made the move. I’ve enjoyed being a member of the Charlotte Chapter of the PSAA since moving here in ’06 and I’m looking forward to furthering the Chapter meeting more Nittany Lions in the area!

Summary: My wife Jamie and I moved to Charlotte in the summer of 2008 for job relocation. We love that the city is small enough to avoid traffic like Atlanta but big enough and growing to have things to do. We are excited about starting a family with our first child in August 2011. We’ve enjoyed the friendships and experiences that we have shared since being part of the Chapter and look forward to being active with the Chapter for many years to come.

Summary: I moved to Charlotte 4 years ago to buy a house, with housing prices through the roof around the Philadelphia area, my dad suggested I move to Charlotte with him and my stepmother, save money and buy a house. One year later I bought my house and have been here since. I was connected with the chapter through a mailing sent to my stepmother (who is also a PSU alum) about football viewing locations. I thought THANK GOODNESS I won’t miss out on watching my boys play! I am the biggest PSU football fanatic you’ll ever meet, I never miss a game. I have been actively involved in the chapter since and look forward to continuing that relationship.

Summary: 3 years ago I moved to Charlotte after receiving my MBA from the University of Georgia in Athens. Currently I work as a Corporate Real Estate professional with Bank of America. Before my career with the Bank, I worked for International Paper in Memphis, TN and Deloitte Consulting in Atlanta, GA. I love living down South, but I miss my days at Penn State so much! I try to make it up for a game every year, but am also so excited to be part of the Charlotte PSU family!

Summary: I moved to Charlotte last spring to escape the snow and cold of Pennsylvania. I enjoy hanging out at the Whitewater Center, trying new places to eat, and seeing so many Penn Staters 500 miles away from Happy Valley!
