Penn State Night at the Comedy Zone

On February 25, 2000 our newly formed Program Committee sponsored its first event since the re-organization of the chapter in 1999. The event was held at The Comedy Zone on Independence Boulevard and consisted of a happy hour from 6:30 to 8:00, followed by a performance by James Gregory. Approximately 25 members and their guests attended the event, some from as far away as Shelby and Charleston. We even signed up a new member or two! During the happy hour, the group mixed and mingled while snacking on light appetizers. As the show began, the majority of the group was seated together and was able to continue building on new relationships begun during the happy hour. James Gregory was very funny indeed; there was rarely a moment without laughter. Overall, everyone had a good time and the event was deemed a success!
